About The Veil Wiki
An independent fan guide to The Veil, built to answer questions quickly without presenting launch-week guesses as settled facts.
Why this site exists
The Veil launched into a crowded corner of Roblox where guide pages are usually assembled by copying whatever the previous page said. That works until the game patches. Codes stop working and stay listed as active, a reroll cost changes and every site keeps quoting the old number, and a route someone described once in a comment gets repeated until it reads like a confirmed fact.
This site is an attempt to do the boring version instead: check the claim, write down when it was checked, and say plainly when something could not be confirmed.
How a claim gets onto a page
Everything published here sits in one of three tiers, and the tier decides how the sentence is written.
- First-party. The official Roblox experience, the developer's own announcements and the studio's Discord. These are written as facts.
- Reproducible observation. Something that can be triggered in game and repeated, such as a redemption panel rejecting a code or a trait's displayed effect. Written as a fact with the date it was observed.
- Dated community documentation. Used only as a lead, and only when the report carries a date and enough detail to re-test. Written as a report, attributed, and never upgraded to a fact by repetition.
When two sources disagree, both stay visible instead of one quietly winning. When a claim only ever came from a single uncorroborated account, it is held back until something independent confirms it. A few boss routes and quest chains are sitting unpublished for exactly that reason.
Three examples you can check right now
Codes are redeemed, not copied. Every code on the codes page was put through the in-game panel. Dead codes are not deleted — they keep a section explaining why they failed, because "this code does not work" is the answer most people arrived looking for. Codes that other sites still list as active are marked expired here when the panel rejects them.
Links are verified against the platform, not against other guides. The Discord invite on the links page was checked through Discord's own public invite endpoint, with the member count and check date recorded. A similarly named server that also surfaces in search results is named and excluded, so a reader copying an invite from a comment section can tell the two apart.
Sources get demoted when they stop working. The community Trello used to be a reasonable reference. A logged-out check returned no board content, so it was downgraded on this site from a source to a historical lead, with the failed check documented rather than silently dropped.
Dates and beta volatility
The Veil is in beta, and a patch can invalidate a number or a route overnight. Pages covering things that move — codes, costs, tier placements, race effects, boss mechanics — carry a visible checked date. Read that date before you spend Robux, a reroll or a rare item, and confirm the current value in game if the date is old. A guide that shows no date is telling you nothing about whether it is still true.
Corrections
Corrections are welcome and get priority over new pages. Email hello@the-veil.wiki with the page URL, what is wrong and either a dated source or steps to reproduce it in game. See the contact page for what to include. Pages that change materially get their checked date updated, and significant reversals are noted on the page rather than edited away.
Independence, advertising and privacy
This site is not affiliated with BlackstarDW Studios or Roblox Corporation, and it has no relationship to the separate site using the domain theveilroblox.wiki. Nothing here is endorsed by the developer, and no coverage decision is made by anyone connected to the game.
The site carries advertising to cover hosting, and advertising never decides what gets covered or how a tier list is ordered. Advertising and analytics run by default, and either can be turned off at any time through "Privacy settings" in the footer. Videos are not embedded until you press play, and playback uses youtube-nocookie.com. Full detail is on the privacy page.
