The Veil Codes

One code works: VEILOWEEN, for 5 Race Rerolls. It came with the Halloween update on October 10, and we redeemed it in the shop on October 11. The Halloween update also ended the three codes that had been working since September: UPDATEFINALLY, LASTONE and EMERGENCY were all refused the same day on an account that had never used them, although the update log never says they were expired. The three launch codes, SORRY4SHUTDOWN, VERITYBOMB and RELEASE, have been dead since September 12. Before any code works you have to join the developer's Roblox group and like the game; until you do, the panel rejects every code you type.

Working codes

VEILOWEEN — 5 Race Rerolls, redeemed in game on October 11. It is the only working code. One redemption per account. UPDATEFINALLY, LASTONE and EMERGENCY stopped working with the Halloween update on October 10, so trackers that still list them are out of date.

Everything else is the game's own screen, including the requirement line above the entry field — “Join the ROBLOX group & like the game to redeem codes!” Full steps below.

How to redeem The Veil codes

  1. Join the BlackstarDW Studios Roblox group. It is open, so the request goes through immediately.
  2. Like The Veil on Roblox — the thumbs-up under the play button, not the favourite star or the notification bell. The in-game code panel asks for the group and the like together, and it checks both.
  3. Launch the game, create or load a character, and finish the short opening tutorial. If you joined the group or liked the game while already connected, rejoin the server so the check sees it.
  4. Select the small shopping-cart icon in the row of buttons under the health and sanity bars, at the right-hand end — marker 1 in the screenshot above. Some guides send you to a three-dots menu at the top of the screen; that is not where it is. The shop opens with Codes low in the left-hand list, between Donations and Daily Rewards, marker 2.
  5. Type the code into the Redeem codes here! field exactly as shown, with no space in the middle, and press the Redeem button beside it. A successful redemption says so in the panel — Redeemed code! You got 3 Race Rerolls — so you do not have to go hunting through your inventory to find out whether it worked.

Why a code may fail

Codes can change between checks.

VEILOWEEN was redeemed on October 11, on the v2.0.2 build. This game has now ended every outstanding code at each of its two content updates, so expect VEILOWEEN to stop working at the next one. Tracker pages that still list UPDATEFINALLY, LASTONE or EMERGENCY as working are running on information from before the Halloween update. See the patch tracker for what each build changed.

VEILOWEEN: 5 Race Rerolls with the Halloween update

The developer, e.lee, posted this code twice on October 10. The first was in the official Discord updates channel at 17:31 UTC, a minute after the update log and half an hour before the build went out: "use code VEILOWEEN for 5 race rerolls". The second was in the launch announcement in the news channel at 18:00 UTC, the minute the update went live.

It works. Entered in the shop on October 11, on the v2.0.2 build, it paid out 5 Race Rerolls. Like UPDATEFINALLY before it, it belongs to the build it came with, so it only redeems on servers running the Halloween update. The Roblox group and like requirement still applies.

UPDATEFINALLY, LASTONE and EMERGENCY: ended by the Halloween update

All three were entered in the same October 11 session that redeemed VEILOWEEN, on an account that had never used any of them, and all three were refused. They had paid out normally on September 13. The VEILOWEEN update log does not mention them, so the only record of their expiry is that test. Rerolls, Silver and Ichor you already claimed from them stay on the account.

This is the second content update in a row to clear every outstanding code. The September 12 notes at least opened by saying so; this time the codes simply stopped working. The sections below record what each one gave while it lasted.

UPDATEFINALLY: expired October 10, and the space was the whole problem

Expired with the Halloween update; it was refused on October 11. While it worked: the developer, e.lee, posted this code in the official Discord news channel on September 12 at 02:53 UTC — 5 Race Rerolls, 1,000 Silver and 1,000 Ichor, to be used once the update was out — and wrote it as two words. The shop does not accept it that way. Typed as UPDATEFINALLY it redeems; typed with the space it is rejected with the same message a dead code gets, which is why some players have written it off as already expired.

Timing accounts for the rest of the failure reports. The code only started working when the build it belonged to went live, which was the 17:00 UTC shutdown on September 12, not the 02:53 UTC announcement fourteen hours earlier. Anyone who tried it in between got an invalid-code error from a code that was real.

It is also the first code here that pays Silver and Ichor instead of rerolls alone, which makes it worth more than the three it replaced put together. Ichor is not spent on gems: it is the currency the Goblin Tinkerer takes for enhancing a weapon, outfit or accessory, and it otherwise only accumulates from kills and feats, so 1,000 of it is a real head start.

EMERGENCY: was 3 Race Rerolls, expired October 10

e.lee posted this one in the official Discord updates channel rather than the news channel, in the middle of a day that needed three separate server shutdowns. It came at 17:35 UTC: "shutdown for dupe fix and omniwarp/stay in combat fixes… use code EMERGENCY after it shutdowns for 3 rrs".

Entered on September 13 after the v1.1.2 hotfix, the panel returned "Redeemed code! You got 3 Race Rerolls". On October 11, after the Halloween update, it was refused.

LASTONE: was 5 Race Rerolls, expired October 10

Same developer, same updates channel, later the same evening at 19:01 UTC, after the duping was confirmed fixed: "sorry guys about all that… use code LASTONE for 5 rrs".

It paid five rerolls when it was entered on September 13 after the v1.1.2 hotfix, and was refused on October 11. It lasted until the next content update, as the pattern from September 12 suggested it would.

SORRY4SHUTDOWN, VERITYBOMB and RELEASE: the three launch codes are gone

SORRY4SHUTDOWN, VERITYBOMB and RELEASE were all live on September 11 and every tracker we follow still listed them. Entered on September 13, in the same shop session where UPDATEFINALLY paid out normally, all three were refused on an account that had never used any of them. The update retired them. Rerolls you already claimed from them stay on the account; there is just no way to claim them now.

The patch notes say it outright for two of the three. The CHANGES block the developer posted at 16:14 UTC on September 12, before the build went live, opens with the line "RELEASE and VERITYBOMB code expired". SORRY4SHUTDOWN is not named there, but it was refused in the same session on an account that had never used it, which leaves expiry as the explanation.

That is a first for this game. Up to this point GamesRadar+ recorded no expired The Veil codes at all, and the three had been treated as permanent launch rewards. SORRY4SHUTDOWN was the shortest-lived of them: it surfaced on trackers on September 10, the Try Hard Guides entry carrying a page timestamp of 18:34 UTC that day, and it was dead about three days later. All three expired on the same patch rather than individually, so the safe assumption for any code you are holding is that the next content update ends it.

What to do with race rerolls

Do not spend every reroll immediately. Read the race effects first, then use the race tier list as a launch-week opinion rather than a permanent rule. The strongest roll depends on whether your class plan uses casting, summons, mobility or raw survival.

VEILOWEEN is read from the developer account e.lee's posts in the official The Veil Discord: the updates channel at 2026-10-10T17:31:36Z ("use code VEILOWEEN for 5 race rerolls"), one minute after the VEILOWEEN update log at 17:30:05Z, and the news channel launch post at 2026-10-10T18:00:15Z ("Use code VEILOWEEN for 5 Race Rerolls"). Both were fetched from Discord on October 11. None of the four trackers checked on October 11 listed it yet. VEILOWEEN was then redeemed in the in-game shop on October 11, on the v2.0.2 build, and paid 5 Race Rerolls. In the same session UPDATEFINALLY, LASTONE and EMERGENCY were all refused on an account that had never redeemed them, so those refusals are expiries rather than the once-per-account limit. The update log has no line expiring a code.

The two redemption requirements are first-party. The Codes panel in the in-game shop, read and photographed on September 13, 2026 — the screenshot above is that panel — prints them above the entry field: “Join the ROBLOX group & like the game to redeem codes! Join the discord to be notified for new codes!” That is stricter than the published walkthroughs, which mention the group but not the like, and it is also the game pointing at its own Discord as the place codes are announced. The group is BlackstarDW Studios, open entry, owned by the developer account zapicxz. The shop entry point and the panel layout described above were verified in the same session; the three-dots route given by some publishers does not match the current interface.

The September statuses on this page come from a live redemption test in the in-game shop on September 13, 2026, not from tracker reports. UPDATEFINALLY was accepted without the space and rejected with it, EMERGENCY was accepted and the panel returned “Redeemed code! You got 3 Race Rerolls”, and SORRY4SHUTDOWN, VERITYBOMB and RELEASE were entered in the same session and all three were refused. The account had never redeemed any of the three, so those refusals are expiries rather than the once-per-account limit.

UPDATEFINALLY's wording and rewards come from the developer's own September 12, 2026 post in the official The Veil Discord news channel, read directly at 04:53 UTC that day, which spells it as two words and schedules the update for 17:00 UTC.

EMERGENCY and LASTONE were both read in the same server's updates channel, posted by the developer account e.lee on September 12 at 17:35:46Z and 19:01:18Z respectively, alongside the shutdown announcements they accompany. Each post states its own reward — three Race Rerolls and five. All four trackers surveyed on September 13 — Try Hard Guides, GamesRadar+, Pocket Tactics and PCGamesN — now list both and agree on those rewards. All three working codes were then entered in the in-game shop on September 13, after the v1.1.2 hotfix, and all three paid out. The same four trackers still showed SORRY4SHUTDOWN, VERITYBOMB and RELEASE as working after they had stopped redeeming, and none of them mentions the like requirement the game itself enforces.

"RELEASE and VERITYBOMB code expired" is quoted from the CHANGES section of the developer's September 12 patch notes, posted in that updates channel at 16:14:39Z. The official Roblox games API read on September 13 reports updated: 2026-09-13T10:36:58Z — the v1.1.2 hotfix, announced in the same channel a minute later — with the experience named "[UPDATE ⭐] The Veil" and the description still reading Version: Beta v1.0.0.
