The Veil Updates and Patch Tracker

VEILOWEEN is live. The Halloween update went out on October 10 at 18:00 UTC with 23 limited event items, the new Vampire race, the Haunted Keep trial and about thirty balance changes, and two hotfixes, v2.0.1 and v2.0.2, followed that evening. The event runs to November 7. Before it, the game had gone almost four weeks without a build. Its launch week had five builds in three days. The content update went out on September 12 at 17:00 UTC with the megaboss, Star Fruits, 21 new accessories and a prestige rebalance; v1.1.1 followed at 22:03 with summon and class corrections; v1.1.2 landed on September 13 at 10:37 and removed The Headless Behemoth and every blood effect in the game to keep Roblox from rating the experience 18+; v1.1.3 arrived on September 14 with seven repairs and no balance changes; and a single unnumbered line that night removed blood from shackles. Along the way the three launch codes expired and two new ones were issued. The public description caught up to Beta v1.1.3 after sitting on Beta v1.0.0 through the first three builds, and by September 27 it had dropped the number and read only Version: Beta.

Current status

VEILOWEEN is live, from October 10 at 18:00 UTC to November 7 at 19:00 UTC. The latest build is the v2.0.3 hotfix of October 11: mobile inventory during dialogue is fixed, Halo loses its unintended −10% resistance, and the grate barrier is fixed. Start at the Witch of Veil-O-Ween, who the developer says has the details; event items are bought with Candy. New code: VEILOWEEN for 5 Race Rerolls, redeemed in game on October 11 and the only working code. The update quietly ended UPDATEFINALLY, LASTONE and EMERGENCY: the log does not mention them, but all three were refused on October 11. SORRY4SHUTDOWN, VERITYBOMB and RELEASE have been dead since September 12.

Latest hotfix checked October 12 after a fresh sync of both official Discord channels. e.lee's v2.0.3 post is timestamped 2026-10-11T03:23:20Z. The official games API reports updated: 2026-10-11T03:40:08Z. No newer code announcement was returned by that sync.

VEILOWEEN: the Halloween update

VEILOWEEN teaser from the developer: a player with a carved pumpkin head in an orange-lit area strung with cobwebs
The teaser attached to the developer's September 23 announcement in the official Discord.

The developer, e.lee, published the VEILOWEEN update log at 17:30 UTC on October 10 and the update went live half an hour later. The official Roblox event runs from October 10, 18:00 UTC to November 7, 19:00 UTC. The log carries no version number; the two hotfixes that followed are v2.0.1 and v2.0.2, so this page calls it v2.0. Everything below is from that log. For how to play the event (the Witch's quest, the three statues, the Haunted Keep and its boss drops) see the VEILOWEEN event guide.

The event

Candy and event items come from killing the new VEILOWEEN enemies, from daily event quests and from enduring the Haunted Keep trial. The log lists:

The log does not name the event items, bosses, megaboss or event race. The launch post sends players to the Witch of Veil-O-Ween for details. Two new badges appeared with the update, WANDERER FELLED and WAVE 15 SURVIVED; the log does not say what earns them.

New permanent content

Alongside the limited items, the update adds content that is not tied to the event:

Changes

Balancing

The biggest single change is a 10% damage buff to every melee weapon. The rest, as the log lists it:

Fixes

About thirty fixes, most of them for mobile: a movable, resizable button layout, a Pick Up button, spells aimed at the last tap, and text that no longer runs off the screen. An ATTACK button was added too, then removed by v2.0.2 the same evening. The log also patches an item duplication exploit, lets quest turn-ins accept enhanced or dyed copies (plain copies are used first, and locked items are never taken), makes Attune actually reduce cast cooldowns (−5% / −10%), stops your attacks applying statuses or enchants to your own or your party’s summons, reworks Weeping Mask’s purgatory bomb passive, and fixes lifesteal from training dummies, players losing their clan on join, outfit swaps deleting the old outfit, and dropped items vanishing early.

Before launch

VEILOWEEN was announced on September 23 with the teaser above. It absorbed the update that had been due in mid-September, which the developer said on September 17 would be merged into the Halloween event because he was moving into college. On October 5 he posted "VEILOWEEN WILL RELEASE ON.. OCTOBER 10TH", and on October 8 he linked the official Roblox event.

Where these notes come from.

The VEILOWEEN builds and the five September builds in the timeline are quoted from the developer's own patch notes, posted by e.lee in the official Discord updates channel and read there directly. Entries further down marked “community archived” predate that and come from dated captures of developer posts; those should still be rechecked in the current server. The Roblox API confirms when the experience changed, never what changed inside it.

Launch and patch timeline

October 14, 23:30 UTC · Developer warning

Developer warns of inventory loss in the Haunted Keep

In the official news channel, e.lee reported possible loss of the entire inventory in the Haunted Keep, then said the team was looking into a fix. The posts do not identify a trigger or announce a completed fix. Both channels were freshly synced on October 15; the latest numbered build remains v2.0.3. Postpone Keep runs until a fix is confirmed.

October 11 · Developer patch notes

v2.0.3 hotfix: mobile dialogue inventory, Halo and the grate barrier

The developer posted three fixes at 03:23 UTC: mobile players can see their inventory during dialogue again (the enhancement tinkerer fix); Halo no longer has the unintended -10% resistance; and the grate barrier was fixed. The post does not describe the barrier problem. The Roblox games API records the subsequent publish at 03:40:08 UTC.

October 10 · Developer patch notes

v2.0.2 hotfix: the mobile attack button is reverted

One line in the updates channel at 20:35 UTC: "Mobile players no longer have the attack button (reverted to before the update)". The update log had added an ATTACK button on mobile and stopped screen taps from attacking; this puts mobile back the way it was. The Roblox games API records the matching publish at 20:35:46 UTC.

October 10 · Developer patch notes

v2.0.1 hotfix: the Vampire cape was priced at 15,050

One line at 20:07 UTC: "Vampire cape price from 15050 to 1500 (oops)". It is the first numbered build after the Halloween update, which is why that update is treated here as v2.0.

October 10 · Developer patch notes

VEILOWEEN goes live with 23 limited items, a Vampire race and code VEILOWEEN

The developer posted the update log at 17:30 UTC, "Releasing in ~30 minutes", and the launch post at 18:00 UTC: "VEIL-O-WEEN IS LIVE!! Head to the Witch of Veil-O-Ween for further details!" Both carry the new code VEILOWEEN for 5 Race Rerolls. The log does not mention the older codes, but UPDATEFINALLY, LASTONE and EMERGENCY stopped redeeming with this build. The full contents are in the VEILOWEEN section above. The experience was renamed "[⏳] The Veil" the evening before and "[🎃] The Veil" after launch.

October 8 · Official event

VEILOWEEN gets a start date: October 10, 18:00 UTC

The developer created an official Roblox event for the experience, "VEIL-O-WEEN", running from 2026-10-10 18:00 UTC to 2026-11-07 19:00 UTC, and linked it in the Discord news channel at 03:40 UTC. The date matches the developer’s October 5 news post at 02:35 UTC: "VEILOWEEN WILL RELEASE ON.. OCTOBER 10TH". The event description says a dimension from far away has seeped into ours, that players can stop its hordes from invading or travel to the dimension to halt its source, and that they can complete event quests, fight new mobs and bosses, and earn Candy to buy limited event items and weapons. No patch notes or codes had been posted when this was checked.

"We working on da update", and regional Robux pricing switched on

Two short developer posts. In the news channel at 19:21 UTC: "we working on da update guys. Dont fear." In the updates channel at 21:02 UTC, one line: "Enabled managed pricing for robux products in regions", which means Robux prices for the game's products can now differ by country. The Roblox API did not record a publish for either, and its update timestamp is still September 17. No gameplay changed.

September 23 · Developer post

VEILOWEEN announced: the next update is a Halloween update

An @everyone post from the developer at 07:44 UTC: "Our main focus is making the halloween update rn where the pace is pretty good rn. There will be content on the side aswell away from halloween", ending "stay tuned for VEILOWEEN". It came with a teaser image and an apology for going quiet after moving into college. No date was given. The full detail is in the VEILOWEEN section above.

September 22 · Official Discord poll

PvP toggle poll closes 2,647 to 1,068 in favour

A poll in the official Discord asking "Add PVP toggle?" closed at 06:02 UTC with 2,647 votes for yes and 1,068 for no. A poll is not a promise, and no post since has said a toggle is coming or when.

September 17 · Developer post + official API

The planned update is folded into a Halloween event update

At 23:50 UTC the developer wrote that the next update would probably be merged "with the upcoming halloween event update" because he was moving into college and did not have time to release it that weekend. Earlier the same day the experience dropped the "[UPDATE ⭐]" prefix from its name, and the Roblox API update timestamp moved to 06:41 UTC. No patch notes were posted for that timestamp, so it is most likely the rename rather than a build.

September 14 · Developer patch notes

A second blood removal, posted without a version number

One line, posted at 23:51 UTC: "Removed blood from shackles". The Roblox games API records the matching update four seconds later, at 2026-09-14 23:51:55 UTC, so this single bullet is the whole of that build's public notes. It carries no version number of its own and follows v1.1.3 by twenty hours, which is why it is listed separately here rather than folded into that entry. Substantively it is the same cleanup as v1.1.2: leftover blood art the earlier sweep missed, removed to keep the experience out of an 18+ rating.

September 14 · Developer patch notes

v1.1.3 hotfixes: rubberbanding, items falling through the floor, inventory visuals

Posted at 03:54 UTC, with the matching Roblox API update at 05:25. Seven lines, all repairs and no balance changes: fixes for rubberbanding and character desyncing, fixes for items dropping through the floor, all hairs now applying to your character instead of only one, the Butcherer T move fixed, the scratch mark removed from the logo on the menu, inventory visual bugs fixed, and locked items in a stack now splitting into their own unit — the note's own example is one locked dice and two unlocked ones becoming separate entries. The developer asks for a ticket with a clip if rubberbanding or floor-drops still happen, and added ninety minutes later that those two are the only other cases the appeals server will take, with lost items restorable if you send them in.

September 13 · Developer patch notes

v1.1.2 removes the Headless Behemoth and all blood from the game

The developer posted this hotfix at 10:37 UTC and gave the reason a day earlier: Roblox moderation flagged the game's blood as heavy or realistic and would have forced it to 18+. So blood decals and realistic blood particles are gone from mobs, weapons and the map, and The Headless Behemoth — described in the notes as "pretty much the gore master which i believe flagged roblox's moderation" — has been removed outright, with a replacement boss already in the works. All Flesh Totems void in player inventories as a result, and the Behemoth's drops are unobtainable until the new boss arrives; Carnage can still come from manor trinket drops. Also in this build: a Cell Of Life teleport fix, the Masquerade main questline fixed, Witchlight damage 10 to 6, Heaven's Lament 12 to 15, a memory-leak lag fix, another duping bug closed and unique item ids added to prevent duping.

September 12 · Developer patch notes

v1.1.1, three hours later: summon and class corrections

A second patch the same evening, announced at 22:04 UTC with a thirty-minute shutdown warning and an apology for "the rocky update launch". Mobs no longer cancel your basic attack or critical, boss summons fixed, summons aggro without you standing next to the target, summon items dropped from 150 to 125 stamina, Human cut to +13 HP per prestige instead of 15, every prestige now grants +2% PvE damage, Glacial Bastion cooldown 18 to 14 seconds and healing 25% to 30%, Sky Sentinel's bonus passive changed from -10% damage to -5% resistance, Duskwing and Gladiator resistance-reduction passives removed, Necronomical Skull default count 2 to 3 with a chance to spawn armored skeletons, Cultist domain size fixed, Magical Harp damage 7.5 to 6.

September 12 · Developer patch notes

The content update: a new megaboss, Star Fruits, 21 accessories and a prestige rebalance

Full notes went up at 16:14 UTC in four blocks, forty-five minutes before the shutdown that shipped them. CONTENT: a new megaboss with its own secret questline and area, Star Fruits that raise prestige up to 6 and described as rare but fairly easy to find while running the maze, three new weapons and items — Heaven's Lament, Soul Ringer and the legendary gem Divine Topaz — and 21 new accessories including The Bell, Ring Of Retribution and Hell Pauldrons. Hit-stun was added to basic attacks, criticals and most abilities, scaled so slower weapons stun harder. CHANGES: RELEASE and VERITYBOMB expired, accounts must now be 7 days old to play, summon life reworked to add summon health instead of duration, selling reworked to a per-item prompt, Scorch Basin lava no longer instant death, and prestige cut from +25 to +10 HP with boss prestige caps restated — Layer 1 bosses can take you up to prestige 6, pale bosses to 12, the first megaboss to 13 and the second to 15 (<a href="/prestige/">caps, not per-kill payouts</a>). BALANCING ran to forty lines, most of it summon and mage nerfs, plus a Cell Of Life softening: health scaling halved from 5,000 to 2,500 per player, dash windup 0.35s to 0.5s, dash damage 60 to 50 and orb damage 30 to 25.

September 12 · Developer post + official API

Content update scheduled for 17:00 UTC, with a code and an unreleased boss badge

The developer announced the update for 2026-09-12 at 17:00 UTC and published the UPDATE FINALLY code for 5 Race Rerolls, 1,000 Silver and 1,000 Ichor, to be used once the build is live. The stated contents are new content, PvP hit-stun changes, balancing and further bug fixing, with a full changelog promised before release. Separately, a twelfth boss badge named FINAL TOLL was created on the official badge API at 03:36 UTC with zero awards and its description names The Bell; it was disabled again at 08:25 UTC the same day, so it has left the public badge list while the badge record itself remains.

September 11 · Official API

Official timestamp moved again overnight

The Roblox games API now reports an update at 2026-09-10 22:37 UTC, replacing the 08:34 UTC value recorded the previous evening. The public description still reads Beta v1.0.0, four current code trackers still list only the same two codes, and no public changelog was found for either timestamp.

September 10 · Official API

Official timestamp advances; version label unchanged

A Roblox API check earlier the same day reported an update at 2026-09-10 08:34 UTC. The description still said Beta v1.0.0. No matching public changelog or third code was verified, so this timestamp alone does not confirm the planned content update has shipped.

September 9 · Official API

What to recheck after joining

Where new information is checked

The developer's patch notes are posted in the updates channel of the official Discord, which is where the v1.1.0, v1.1.1, v1.1.2 and v1.1.3 blocks above were read. The official Roblox experience is the first-party source for the public version, developer identity and update timestamp. The community links page records the currently active Discord invite and the limitations of the old Trello board.

The VEILOWEEN section and the October 10 entries are read from the developer account e.lee's posts in the official The Veil Discord, fetched on October 11: in the updates channel, the update log post at 2026-10-10T17:30:05Z, which links a public Google Doc titled "VEIL-O-WEEN Update Log" with CONTENT, CHANGES, BALANCING and FIXES sections, the code post at 17:31:36Z, v2.0.1 at 20:07:11Z and v2.0.2 at 20:35:34Z; in the news channel, the launch post at 2026-10-10T18:00:15Z. The update log was read in full on October 11. Read at 00:26 UTC on October 11, the Roblox games API reports the experience named "[🎃] The Veil" with updated: 2026-10-10T20:35:46Z, the v2.0.2 publish. Its description no longer carries a version line. The two badges were new in the badge list on October 11.

Rechecked September 27, 2026 at 00:55 UTC: Roblox’s official games API reports updated: 2026-09-17T06:41:34Z, the experience named “The Veil” without the “[UPDATE ⭐]” prefix it carried on September 15, and a description whose version line now reads only Version: Beta. On September 15 it read Version: Beta v1.1.3, and before that it sat on Beta v1.0.0 through v1.1.0, v1.1.1 and v1.1.2, so entries dated before September 14 record it as unchanged. We do not know when the version number was dropped.

The September 17 to 26 entries and the VEILOWEEN section are read from the developer account e.lee's posts in the official Discord news channel, timestamped 2026-09-17T23:50:36Z, 2026-09-20T02:17:14Z and 02:17:27Z, 2026-09-23T07:44:25Z (the @everyone announcement and the teaser image) and 2026-09-26T19:21:31Z, and from his updates-channel line at 2026-09-26T21:02:32Z. The poll result was read from the poll object in the Discord polls channel after it closed at 2026-09-22T06:02:14Z. The moderator's answer about limited Halloween items was found with a server-wide Discord search and posted at 2026-09-26T10:34:07Z. All of these were fetched fresh from Discord on September 27, not from a stored copy.

The v1.1.0, v1.1.1, v1.1.2 and v1.1.3 entries are read from the developer account e.lee's own posts in the official The Veil Discord updates channel, timestamped 2026-09-12T16:14:38Z to 16:14:49Z (CONTENT, CHANGES, BALANCING and FIXES in four messages), 2026-09-12T22:04:20Z, 2026-09-13T10:37:27Z and 2026-09-14T03:54:32Z, with the appeals-server note at 2026-09-14T05:24:20Z and the unnumbered "Removed blood from shackles" line at 2026-09-14T23:51:51Z. The moderation reason for v1.1.2 is from the same account in the news channel at 2026-09-13T00:29:40Z: "we have to remove the blood from our game ❓ roblox flagged it as heavy/realistic and will make it only 18+". Each build is dated by the API timestamp closest to its post: 2026-09-13T10:36:58Z for v1.1.2, 2026-09-14T05:25:34Z for v1.1.3 and 2026-09-14T23:51:55Z for the shackles line, which lands four seconds after the post.

The September 12 announcement, its 17:00 UTC time and the UPDATEFINALLY wording were read in the news channel of the same server. Code statuses come from entering all six in the in-game shop on September 13, after the v1.1.2 hotfix, not from publisher listings. The FINAL TOLL badge record now reads enabled: true, updated 2026-09-12T17:58:48Z, with 249 awards at a 00:00 UTC read on September 13, after having been created and disabled the same morning at zero awards. Patch details marked community archived are dated captures of developer Discord posts; exact live mechanics should be verified in game.
